Rufus calls Goal 'babe' and 'his girlfriend' despite the fact that she DOES NOT KNOW HIM. Rufus constantly calls his ex-girlfriend a nag for asking him to help with the housework IN THE HOUSE THAT SHE OWNS, and is graciously allowing him to stay in despite the fact that they're no longer together? Whenever Goal is upset with Rufus, Rufus ejects her memory disk (rendering her unconscious) and replaces it with a new one when he's ready for her to wake up? She is unable to consent, but Rufus still drags her around everywhere he goes. Rufus constantly asks other characters to 'leave him alone with her' (EW?). The other femme character, Goal, is unconscious for the ENTIRE storyline. The biggest one for me: Rufus TRANQUILIZES HIS EX GIRLFRIEND, and she says it's not the first time it has happened? I am shocked that an entire team of people approved this storyline (in 2012!), but I can't say I'm surprised. A transfeminine character being used as the butt of the joke? Check, check, and check. Second, the storyline checks every SINGLE box on the bigot checklist.
